Welcome to my website. I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over ten years of experience in the field of mental health. I have been practicing psychotherapy since 2010 and I currently hold a doctorate degree in clinical psychology. In both training and practice I have worked with adults, adolescents, couples and the elderly, treating a wide range of psychological issues including substance abuse, relational issues, psychosis (schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, etc..), anxiety, body and somatic issues, depression, trauma, grief, acculturation issues and performance anxiety. In addition to the issues listed above, I also work with people who may not be struggling with psychological issues in particular, but may feel stuck in making the same mistakes over and over again trying to find a way out.
I believe warmth, depth, understanding and patience are essential to helping others and I strive to incorporate these qualities into my work as a therapist. My practice is geared towards helping people create substantial, lasting change that will promote health and growth for years to come.
I have extensive training in psychodynamic/psychoanalytic psychotherapy and participate in ongoing consultation and continuing education programs. I believe it is essential to stay current and engaged with the psychological community in order to offer the most effective treatment to those who walk through my door.
